Appreciating My Family of Origin
In
my life, there are two parts I have not been able to keep on without them. These parts are my father and my mother. Since I was child, they have supported me in
each aspect of my life. They have taken
care of me and taught how to face difficulties in my life. They also taught me
to respect every person even if he has a different opinion.
My
mother is housewife. She always stays at home to take care of my brothers and
me. Sometimes I thought she hated us, but I was wrong. I do not think there is
any person has been worried about me like her. When I was in school, she woke
up early every day to make to make a breakfast and to be sure we went to school
at time. Also, when we went back, we found our lunch ready. Although she is uneducated, she was strict
about out study and doing our homework. Despite of being far of her, she calls
me every weekend and asks if I eat well.
Although
my father was always at work, he was concerned about our future. When he was being at home, he was always asking
my mother about our behavior and how we were doing in school. He spent all his life to support the family.
I
am always proud when I talk about my parents and what they do for us to achieve
our goals.
How precious and special to have parents who care for you! Your mother is the only one who will care if you are eating well or not. Now that my mother has passed away, there is no one who cares about what I am eating or wearing or if my children got wet when it rained. I am glad you appreciate her! I understand why sometimes you thought she hated you. She was probably angry or annoyed or irritated because she was tired from all the housework and daily responsibilities. I have often felt that way, too. She was exhausted, but she still loved you.
